This year I have been writing down what I have been reading. I’m curious as to how
many books I am reading, and how many I would actually want to buy. It has been a
great experiment, and I’ve learned a lot of things. Out of 300 plus books, this is what
I have discovered.
- 99% of all books are published in China, and if it didn’t come from China it was
Malaysia. If you are wondering how many American books were published, I will
have to disappoint you. I think there might have been two.
- Out of 300 books, only one book was published in Canada! How disappointing.
- Books with morals, or with a teaching lesson, are few and far between.
- A great majority of art within books is being digitally produced. I find this interesting.

Captivate: The Science of Succeeding with People Vanessa Van Edwards
I really like Vanessa. I have been in all her classes, and I wish I would have learned these skills
earlier in life. It would have saved me so much pain. She brought this book out
a few months ago, and it is a good introduction to not only her but also to some
life-changing skills. It’s a great book.
