Instructional Creative Story
This was a personal project, and it came about when I realized how divisive instructional models can be within a group of instructional designers.
To personify the models and look at the instructional design process in a different manner.
This was geared for instructional designers, who are most familiar with the different models.
Pick out the top models and write a creative story around them. Have fun. Put a different spin on the models.
Microsoft products were used to create wordage and send communications.
Graphics were created in Adobe Photoshop.
The magazine-style story was created using Adobe InDesign.
The results were exported into Adobe Acrobat, made 508 compliant, and then exported as a PDF.
My only evaluation method for this was a simple “smile sheet” for myself.
Instructional Designers should learn the models. They would then realize how the same processes are involved in most of them.
