The Character Test

I have been thinking a lot about doing what I do for the glory of God, and I have been trying
to encourage my children to think about this as well. I think the true test of character is to continue
doing good with the gifts you possess when others don’t even realize what you are doing.

Sometimes that is hard to do.

Many times that is difficult to do.

Here is a little video for you to ponder this idea in a new way. Granted, this man is now known, but
think about all the time he spent doing this when he wasn’t “known.”

I think our culture is becoming obsessed with trying to become “known” to the world. There are
benefits to working in the shadows!

I encourage you to do all you do for the glory of God, for it God we serve, and it is with God we receive
the praise of “Well done good and faithful servant.”
