I enjoy looking at great landscape pictures. It reminds me how big the world is, and
how little I little I really know of it. This, of course, makes me think about God and all of creation.
I think when we reflect on things like this we come to a point where we inwardly
acknowledge how little we know about life, but how big God is. It helps me put my
life in perspective.
I need to continually put my life in perspective because I realize how much of my problems are
“privileged problems.” My problems are not from lack of food, lack of housing, nor anything that
is survival based. Instead, my problems are problems that would be insignificant if I was struggling
for survival hence they are “privileged.” Perspective really is key to a lot of struggles in life.
