My kids see a lot of before and after shots from Photoshop. I am constantly showing them
\nhow people manipulate images for some purpose. It might be to sell a product, it might be to
\nconvince the viewer of something, and it might be innocent and just reduce skin imperfections
\nthe camera picks up.<\/p>\n
One day my son declared he would never believe what he sees in a picture, but I realized he was putting videos
\nover still images. Still, images he knew could trick him. He thought videos couldn\u2019t be manipulated
\nin any manner.<\/p>\n
I started working with simple video manipulations, and in this, I started\u00a0to teach my children that <\/p>\n I love technology and the things it can do. I do believe we should be educating our children in <\/p>\n Education is key.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n You learn not to compare yourself, or your life, to fake things when you know <\/p>\n This is a great little clip that showcases the video world. \nin real time. Not so!<\/p>\n
\nthese areas, and I think we need to teach them to be aware that people are using them for good
\nor bad just like everything else in life.<\/p>\n
