I hate hearing when kids don\u2019t like to read. It totally irks me. Reading saved my life. It
\ngave me friends when I didn\u2019t have any. It taught me lessons my parents should have.
\nIt expanded my limited thoughts. Reading was my life line. Reading is like breathing to me.
\nWho doesn’t like to breathe?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I believe kids don\u2019t like to read for two reasons. First, they don\u2019t have a fast enough
\nreading speed for it to be fun. The only way this improves is practice. Second, they don\u2019t
\nget good books. There is so much junk on the market. It helps when you have someone,
\nthat is an avid reader, direct you. Don’t get book picks from people that only read a few a year!<\/p>\n

Good books are hard to find. I know! I have plowed through close to 200 children books so
\nfar this year. How many would I say are worth buying?
\nNot many.<\/p>\n

    I am not a big dragon reader, but I will admit, I really became fond of these characters. I am eagerly awaiting
    \nbook 10. I told my kids I was going to put book 10 on my Kindle and make them wait until I was all done
    \nreading it before they could.<\/p>\n

    What torture.<\/p>\n

    Based on my kid’s suggestion, I read the books in the following order. I suggest you put Darkstalker\u2019s
    \nbook between 8 and 10. It really is the best place for it.<\/p>\n
